AED Program
Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) is one of the leading causes of death in the United States. In order to reduce the number of deaths from SCA in the City of Homewood, the Homewood Fire and Rescue Service provides and maintains several Automated External Defibrillators (AED) throughout all public facilities. The locations include city hall, the library, the seniors center, all park buildings and most park fields. By combining the AED program with CPR training, our goal is to eliminate deaths from SCA in public facilities in the City of Homewood.
